About Motorhome Adventures

Picture Delhi, 1993. A travel-loving couple asked a simple but rather wild question: “Why stay in hotels when your home can travel with you?”

So, they built their first motorhome — not for business, but for themselves. As their family grew, so did their adventures, taking them across India and Nepal in their very own home on wheels.

Soon, curious glances turned into eager questions: “Can we try this too?”

By 1998, with their two daughters on board, the family was still travelling in their caravan while occasionally renting it out to fellow adventurers. What began as a personal passion soon grew into India’s first caravan and motorhome rental service.

The road kept opening new possibilities. By the late 2000s, Motorhome Adventures had expanded into custom caravan conversions, recreational vehicles (RVs), ultra-luxurious motorhomes, and innovative expandable designs.

Birthing Caravan Conversion.

We took our expertise beyond India, building a caravan for a monk in Bhutan.

We completed our first government-affiliated tourism project for Madhya Pradesh Tourism, building two caravans and a food truck.

We expanded into luxury buses and unique projects, including a Club on Wheels built for clients in Nepal.

From extended caravan rentals spanning three years to running and cycling expeditions, large group trips, and custom vehicles for companies such as Aaj Tak and TV9, our journey has taken us far beyond the ordinary.

Today, Motorhome Adventures continues to bring people closer to the freedom of travel — through caravan rentals, luxury motorhome builds, and bespoke vehicles for destinations and businesses across India and beyond.

Sanjay Saini — Delhi-born, with roots in hospitality and coachbuilding, he believes roads are meant to be lived on, not just driven.

Bina Raj Shahi-Saini — Kathmandu-born, with adventure in her Gorkhali DNA, she believes every journey should be about memories, not miles.

Together, they bring over three decades of experience travelling across India, Nepal, Bhutan, and routes towards Tibet — learning firsthand what makes a journey unforgettable: comfort, curiosity, and a dash of madness.

Their daughters started young — becoming tour guides at just seven, learning through family road trips and watching caravans come to life, piece by piece.

Richa — the design mind behind the details that make every build feel effortlessly classy and beautifully considered.

Vidushi — your on-camera host and off-camera creative force, pushing boundaries to redefine how India experiences travel on wheels.

Together, the family continues to evolve the world of caravanning, combining hands-on experience, thoughtful design, and a genuine love for the open road.
